Jordan Wren has been named Coach of the Year at UPSD. Coach Wren led the πππ to a district championship in his 3rd season. He has consistently created opportunities for student athletes. He not only values students as athletes, he also values the adults theyβll become.
UPSD students will head to Rolling Fork, MS on Tuesday to assist in storm relief. This project will help keep relief efforts going. It will also give students an opportunity to serve those in Rolling Fork. Please see the announcement & help with donations, if you can.
UPSD has been recognized by Major Claity as a Power User of the platform. Congratulations to the staff members and students at UMS and UHS for this outstanding recognition. Major Clarity is a platform that guides students in career planning and readiness.
UPSD was recently named a Military Star School.
MDE is asking schools to show support for military families by celebrating βPurple Upβ day and wearing purple on Wednesday, April 19.
Gov. Tate Reeves has signed a proclamation declaring April as Military Family Month.
The UHS Class of 2024 toured the campus of Southern Miss today. The juniors enjoyed touring many parts of the beautiful campus, learning about various programs & opportunities, & seeing a little more about what college is like. It was a great day for the black & gold!
