Unions and activists across the country have highlighted how domestic workers are frequently subjected to false criminalization and police harassment, with no safeguards to prevent such workplace harassment.
Recently, a domestic worker in Kerala was harassed by the police based on a false theft accusation by employers. She has since submitted complaints to the CM of Kerala, and Kerala State SC/ST Commission.
