I have a cousin who HAD sickle cell disease. The pain from that disease is too much. You just want to leave when someone is in crisis.

Luckily for her, my aunt moved to a better country, was really blessed and could afford a curative treatment. She had a stem cell transplant about 2 years back. Her eggs had to be freezed, she did chemotherapy too. In fact, she went through a lot. So many adverse reactions…

About 2 people who had the procedure with her didn’t make it. She was very lucky. She’s doing fine now.

However, you don’t want to subject your future child to so much pain because you claim to be in love or believe in God or have money for treatment, because not everyone is eligible even. Do the right thing!!!
