Meant to reupload this to Twitter earlier but:
NFTs are incredible for the artists who get into them. Every big anti-NFT claim is either academically or observably false; maliciously spread along with abuse, gore, death threats, and ostracising in effort to shut those artists up.
@FBPhilosopher Actually if we're being entirely fair. Not being able to get something legally was always his one exception case for piracy, even in the original video i responded to.
@ZeekerssRBLX Malfunctioning/randomly closing security doors and teleporter traps.
Getting lost, stuck or cut off from your friends is the hidden horror of LC
@Ncpolley Lol, what you mean "short term"? I never said short term. Artists who got in years ago are still benefitting now.
Or is this a NFTs are a slippery slope to the destruction of art or societal collapse kinda argument?

it’s so awful that artists can get paid fairly.
why would anybody want that? lol
let’s keep them poor, it makes for better art.
surely my 0.0000c per play on spotify and the $2 per t-shirt will sustain them.
let’s keep them making child labor merch and fossil fuel discs like they deserve.
Yeah I was NOT kidding when I said Robek is one of the most philanthropic people in web3.
I wanna see Sealed Art overtake the current marketplaces so badly. It'd be so funny to get this sort of thing from a top dog.
In 2 days we're gonna spend all the money we've earned so far from fees on subscriptions to support creators
Set up your subscription tiers before then to be eligible! It's free and gasless
My golden rule of good PR is "Sacrifice more than you sought to gain."
It's the only way to demonstrate sincerity as opposed to damage control.
Go figure, giving back in exchange for a legal waiver reads like the latter.
Logan Paul has stonewalled these victims for a year.
Refuses to communicate
Refuses to create the game he promised for 3 years
Refuses to refund the $10s of millions he sold in $ZOO tokens (in app currency)
Blamed everyone but himself from day 1
How is that “doing the best he possibly can”?
He’s offering this “buyback” only AFTER he got in even more legal trouble. 1 year late with a 1 month claim and a liability waiver? Give me a break.
I’m sympathetic to ppl not understanding crypto and benefit of the doubt stuff but what doubt is there exactly?
it’s not even the first time Logan scammed his fans. DINK DOINK, FELON, ELONGATE, Liquid Marketplace. It’s so well documented at this point.
99OG is kind of a funny example to bring up too because that was what he created when he was lying to Cryptozoo holders saying the game was coming soon. Not sure how one “success” makes up for several scams.
TL;DR Your “friend” has done bad things and defending him blindly while not understanding what he did, ain’t it.
So the rebuttal article is rather, uhhh, inconclusive?
Aardman basically said don't worry it's fine, we have a plan for a transition without saying what it was. So it could be anything.
It might be to move to AI or cgi claymation or an inferior clay product that's true quality we won't know until we see a product.
All I know for sure is they won't be able to get more of their original clay until they make a deal with whichever company ends up buying the rights.
The only way around that would be if Aardman buys the rights itself.
