It’s incredibly humbling to be part of the Women in Westminster 100 list.

It makes me think of the hundreds of women who have supported and inspired me throughout my journey in the trade union movement.

I hope I can also inspire more women to get to the top of their professions, and to take up more roles in politics and public life. It’s hard work, but by recognising each other’s achievements, women become an even bigger force to be reckoned with.
