Natural for people to look for comparison, but $DAG is different than other "Graphs" It isn't a Directed Acyclic Graph it's a Directed Acyclic Hypergraph.

Traditional graph models binary relations, a hypergraph allows for the modeling of group relations. This is achieved by constructing the graph with other graphs, thus forming a set of sets where mathematical morphisms enable different graphs to be connected together by their relationships.

This forms a more complex structure, the hypergraph. Within this structure, there is the notion of "Hyper-edges" and "Hyper-vertices" that connect the graphs together. Each hyperedge can connect an arbitrary number of hypervertices, rather than the two that are standard in a regular graph.

@Conste11ation has constructed a decentrally distributed Directed Acyclic Hypergraph, which possesses properties important for establishing consensus of the immutable state of a distributed system.

The term "Directed" means that the Hypergraph contains ordered pairs of hyper-vertices, allowing the hypergraph structure to evolve in a way that preserves a linear ordering or topological ordering, which can be thought of as a chronological timeline of events.

The term "Acyclic" signifies that a node in the Hypergraph never forms a path that connects back to itself, which is an important property for immutable distributed ledger applications.

Regarding scalability, the Constellation Network has designed a system that leverages self-similar fractal mathematics to store the history of validated data in an extremely efficient and consistent manner.

Consensus is conducted concurrently, in parallel, and asynchronously across various local states, which converge into the global state of the network.

Rather than distributing the actual data around the network, the Constellation Network distributes computation and then combines the outputs of those disparate computations together
