@DFrankcom Probably should have gone and won it , I was on QFS too. Only thing I would say is QFS seems to just do what he needs to win & showed that game attitude last time too

Quest For Stars seems to just do what’s required to win but has shown a good attitude in his first two starts & is a horse on the up, step up to a mile will suit here & trainer Charlie Appleby seems to target this race having won it in 2021, 2022 and 2023.

Stepping up an extra furlong here no problem runs over further on jumps. Fav is well backed but a bit short for me this looks the value play in the race 🐎

Chalk Mountain is a different horse on the AW and returned to form with a close 2nd at Southwell last time under this jockey, last win came here off 81 where he tanked into the race - off 82 here but 7lb claimer leaves him in prime position to strike back at a track he loves.

Ciao Capo another progressive horse who after two decisive wins stepped up from Class 6 company to Class 4 and just found it a bit too much, drops into an ordinary looking Class 5 here I’m taking him to resume progress and get back in the winners enclosure.

A game of small margins - still a hugely profitable day with 17/2 , 6/4 winners and 9/1 place from 5 👍🐎

Milford flying home to finish 2nd at 9/2 hurt, but Sugar Sugar drifting to 7/2 and looking like he was going to walk away with it to give up the race by hanging - painful.

Last 2 could have easily and should have won would have been an absolutely mega day 🤢

Milford flew home for 2nd and the less said about Sugar Sugar the better absolutely threw the race away had them all flat to the board and just wouldn’t run straight - sickener.
