🚨 Manchester United have fined Lisandro Martínez as punishment and consider the case now closed.
Lisandro spoke to Carrick and the directors to clarify the situation, apologize then now moving on.

@edzsamudra Bisa dibilang salah dia juga yang akhirnya si Gemoy bisa naik jadi RI1. Harapan dia bersama Gibran bisa dilanjutin pekerjaan dia sebelumnya, taunya gak sesuai harapan.
Let's not get this twisted. If you listen to Martinez he actually backs Carrick and doesn't out his current teammates. He states we needed more players for a more demanding season. Pure deflection to take the heat of who he really called out = Wilcox and the owners
🚨🗣️José Mourinho on Lisandro Martínez's comments.
🗣️“It's always the same there [Manchester United]. Someone speaks up, and instead of addressing the situation, they attack the person. It's always been the same there.
“I try not to speak on matters like this because they don't concern me.
“I remember when I came in there, everything was not right. I tried to speak to the board, and still, nothing changed. I did a press conference, and that became the main target of why I wasn't supposed to be at the club. I remember Ronaldo [Cristiano], too. The same thing.
“Now, I'm not surprised it's happening to anyone there [Martinez], and I don't think there's going to be change in the next 10 years if they keep eliminating anyone who comes to tell the truth.
“You cannot solve a problem by silencing the people who speak about it. Until they start listening instead of attacking, the same problems will keep coming back.”
🚨 Lisandro Martínez, not the only player at Manchester United with that view of the situation at club level.
Man United assessing possible sanction/fine for Licha, as @lauriewhitwell reports.
Out of contract in June 2027 but club option until 2028.

🚨 Nani on Lisandro Martinez publicly criticising Manchester United’s hierarchy:
“I don’t understand why people are so shocked by what Lisandro said. You want ambitious players at Manchester United, but when one of them shows he’s unhappy with the direction of the club, suddenly he should keep quiet?
He’s a professional. He has to take responsibility for his performances. But being professional doesn’t mean you stop caring about what is happening around you.
Let me explain something.
Even playing football in the streets, we understood this. You’d turn up, look across and see the other team had brought the best boys in the neighbourhood.
You’d look at your own team and say, ‘Wait. We knew they were coming. Why didn’t we call anyone?’
Someone would tell you, ‘Don’t worry, just play.’
Of course you play. But you’re already thinking, ‘So I’m supposed to beat all of them by myself?’
Now imagine feeling that way at Manchester United.
I remember training with Cristiano, Rooney, Tévez, Scholes, Giggs. Sometimes you’d do something you thought was fantastic, and before you could enjoy it, somebody else would do something even better.
You had no choice but to improve.
If Cristiano scored a brilliant goal, Wayne wanted one. If Wayne was flying in training, you wanted to show him something. And if you weren’t sharp, there was somebody waiting who would happily take your place.
That competition was healthy. It wasn’t always comfortable, believe me. But you arrived every morning knowing that if you wanted to play on Saturday, you had to earn it.
And when Saturday came, you walked onto the pitch differently.
You looked to your left, you looked to your right, and you saw players who could win the game in five different ways. You weren’t standing there hoping one person would save everybody.
You were almost smiling before kick-off.
Because you’re thinking, ‘How are they going to stop all of us?’
That’s what people forget about team spirit. It isn’t only players hugging each other after a goal. It’s the confidence you get from knowing the man next to you is just as hungry, just as capable, and just as determined to win.
That confidence changes how you run, how you press, how you take risks. Even when you make a mistake, you want the ball again.
Now look at Lisandro with Argentina. Watch his body language. He plays with conviction. He’s surrounded by players who know what they want, who trust each other, who believe they can beat anybody.
I’m not saying he becomes a different footballer when he puts on the United shirt. I’m saying the environment around a footballer matters enormously.
You can be a very good player and still feel frustrated when your rivals keep strengthening while you’re waiting for your club to take the next step.
That frustration can affect your football. You’re human.
People will say, ‘Well, he gets paid to play.’
Yes. And he plays to win.
Those two things are not the same.
I don’t think Lisandro came out of that interview because he wanted attention. I think he looked around and wondered why a club with Manchester United’s resources and history keeps finding itself in the same conversation.
I’d rather have a player angry that United aren’t competing with the best than one comfortable finishing behind them.
But he must back it up on the pitch. All of them must.
And the people making decisions must match that ambition.
The supporters deserve to see United walking out of the tunnel smiling again. Not because they’ve been told to be positive, but because every player knows what the others are capable of.
When we played, there were matches where I looked at the players beside me and almost felt sorry for the opposition.
That’s the feeling Manchester United should be trying to bring back.
And I think that’s the feeling Lisandro is asking for.”
🚨🗣️ Paul Scholes on Lisandro Martinez criticizing the Manchester united board:
"For me he is brave and wants the best for this club because if he doesn't wants to win with united, He wouldn't have criticized them on air"
"Some former united players are saying he was wrong to do that but, these former united players don't really care about the club because how can you see what is going on and tell a player that He is wrong to criticize the owners and management"
"Lisandro Martinez has shown how brave he is and I will forever respect him for that"
#mufc players split over Lisandro Martinez’s comments. Some wary of siding with him whereas others understanding.

This Man Utd team has been dead since the return of Rashford. The excitement among the players is gone — the energy and the vibes are gone — because of Rashford.
When I said this some months ago, Rashford's stans thought I was hating on him. Now players like Amad and Martinez are showing it too, because Rashford is done as a player for Man Utd, but the incompetent board and Carrick won't see it.
Carrick even said Rashford is like a new signing.
🚨 LISANDRO MARTINEZ’S heated confrontation with INEOS and the Glazers LEAKS after an unidentified staff member reportedly records EVERYTHING he said:
🗣️ “You know what? I'm tired of all this nonsense. I REGRET COMING HERE if this is how you treat people who dare to speak the truth!
“You want to sanction me because I exposed what is happening behind closed doors? Are you people serious? Instead of fixing this club, you're busy trying to silence anyone who refuses to play along with your lies!
“THE PROBLEM IS YOU! The Glazers have been running this club into the ground for years, and INEOS came in promising to save Manchester United. So tell me, what exactly has changed?
“You keep talking about rebuilding, but every season brings more excuses, more disappointment, and more problems. You expect the players to take all the blame while the people making these decisions hide in their offices?
“And now I'm the villain because I refuse to keep my mouth shut? FUCK THAT! You can threaten me with fines, suspensions, or whatever punishment you think will scare me. I'm not going to sit here and pretend everything is fine just to protect your reputation.
“The fans deserve to know what is happening inside this club. They spend their hard-earned money supporting Manchester United, travel thousands of miles to watch us play, and defend this badge with everything they have. They deserve the truth, not another carefully prepared statement full of excuses!
“And don't think I haven't noticed the way you're looking at me right now. You're angry because someone finally said what everyone has been afraid to say to your faces!
“I'm Lisandro Martínez. I'm not your puppet, and I'm not going to sacrifice my dignity to make you comfortable. If speaking the truth means you want me out of this club, then SAY IT!
“SELL ME TOMORROW! I would rather walk away from Manchester United with my head held high than spend another day pretending that everything happening here is acceptable.
“And one more thing: if you think you can intimidate me into silence, you've made the biggest mistake of your lives. THIS CLUB BELONGS TO THE FANS, NOT YOU!
“Now go ahead and sanction me. But remember this: you might be able to punish one player, but you cannot silence an entire fanbase that is tired of watching you destroy the club they love!”
According to my source, Michael Carrick lost the dressing room at Manchester United following the reintegration of Marcus Rashford into the squad.
I’m told Carrick assured Rashford that he would play a major role in his plans for the season.
However, this reportedly raised concerns among other players, particularly Matheus Cunha, who wanted clarity on his role given that he and Rashford operate in similar positions.
Cunha is understood to have approached Carrick over the situation, but Carrick reassured him that Rashford’s return would not affect his playing time.
Despite those assurances, Carrick’s decision to repeatedly start both players together, even when the combination wasn’t working, reportedly became a source of frustration within the squad.
The Manchester City game was reportedly the breaking point.
That was the moment several players lost faith in Carrick’s decisions, with trust in Michael Carrick said to have deteriorated significantly.
There’s also growing discontent among some players over the board’s decision to sack Ruben Amorim last season. They reportedly believe Amorim had established a clearer footballing structure and that the team performed better under him, despite the disappointing results.
Lisandro Martínez is reportedly among those who hold this view.
This could also explain his apparent frustration after the match against Atlético Madrid.
We are really in crazy times at Manchester United.
Lisandro Martinez not the only player in #MUFC squad to feel more was needed from club board, including Jason Wilcox in summer.

🚨 Lisandro Martínez statement. ⤵️
Following everything that has been said about my comments yesterday, I want to share some thoughts on what I said and how I feel.
After the match, I spoke out of anger and frustration at not getting the result we all wanted.
Those who know me know how I live football, with passion, commitment and a huge desire to win.
And when things don’t go our way, it hurts, especially when representing a club with the history and stature of Manchester United.
My words reflect how I feel and how much I want to see this club competing for the biggest honours. Those high standards are part of how I see football and the responsibility that comes with wearing this shirt.
When I talk about wanting more, I’m talking about the ambition we must all have as part of this club. To keep growing, to become stronger and to have everything we need to compete at the highest level. These are standards we must all hold ourselves to, starting with me.
I know that, first and foremost, it’s us, the players, who have to deliver, and I put myself at the front of that responsibility. We need to demand even more of ourselves and work together to take Manchester United back to the top.
I believe in my teammates, our manager and everyone working to help this club move forward. I’m convinced that the way forward is to keep working together, with ambition and commitment.
My goal has been the same since day one, to win, to compete at the highest level and to give everything I have for this badge.
