a) Invest in quality apprenticeships, leading to good jobs on union rates of pay for electricians, as unions suggest. Or:
b) Deskill the industry & ‘quick train’ fitters to slap them in – failing the hundreds of thousands of young people in need of work & endangering the public, as some lobbyists suggest
