How to actually use Claude in 2026:

▸ "critique your own answer and fix it"
▸ "give me 3 versions, pick the best"
▸ "what would an expert in [field] say about this?"
▸ put EVERYTHING in the first message, Claude 4.7 follows literal, doesn't infer
▸ use XML tags: <task>, <context>, <example> structure beats prose
▸ ask the opposite first → "what would make this fail?" then build from there

3 hidden ones nobody talks about:

▸ paste full context, then ask: "what's missing for you to do this well?" → it tells you
▸ end prompts with "be honest, even if it's not what I want to hear" → kills sycophancy
▸ for code: "investigate first, plan, then write" → 10x better than "just write X"
