📢 Update: Legacy App Support Timeline Extended

To ensure the best possible experience for all users, we've decided to extend the retirement date for legacy Unity and Unetwork app versions.

We're completing the final stages of compatibility support for older Samsung devices before retiring legacy app support. This additional time will help ensure as many supported devices as possible can transition smoothly to the latest version.

What this means:

• Legacy Unity and Unetwork app versions will continue to be supported for a little longer.
• Android users can continue updating to Unetwork v1.2.1 to benefit from the latest features, performance improvements, and reliability.

We'll announce the new retirement date once this final compatibility work is complete.

We're upgrading Unetwork. Make sure you come with us.

As Unetwork continues to grow, we're rolling out major updates to deliver better performance, improved reliability, and exciting new features. To support these ongoing improvements, we are retiring support for older versions of our apps.

What this means for you: As we continue improving Unetwork, older versions of the Unity app and Unetwork app will no longer be able to connect to the latest services. Android users should update to Unetwork v1.2.1 to stay connected and benefit from the latest features, performance improvements, and reliability.

From this time:

⚠️ Legacy versions of the Unity app will no longer connect to the latest services.

⚠️ Unetwork app v1.1.x will no longer be supported.

✅ Android users: Update to Unetwork v1.2.1 to stay connected and enjoy the latest features, performance improvements, and reliability.

👉 If you're using Android, please install Unetwork v1.2.1 before July 15 to ensure uninterrupted access to the network.

iOS users: Support for the latest version will follow as soon as it becomes available on the App Store. We'll let you know as soon as it's ready.

This isn't the end of the Unity or Unetwork apps. It's the retirement of legacy technology as we prepare for future enhancements and continue building the best possible experience for our community.

ACCOUNT MERGE IS NOW LIVE + NEW PLATFORM UPDATES

As announced last week, the Account Merge feature is now available.

If you previously used an alias email address linked to your base Unetwork account, you can now securely merge your alias account into your base account.

To merge your account:
• Sign in to https://t.co/FTqoiXRlRR using your base Unetwork email address
• Go to Settings → Merge Accounts
• Follow the on-screen instructions

Once complete:
• Rewards, leases, and account data will be transferred to your base account
• Existing lease device bindings remain in place
• Simply sign in again on any devices previously using the base email address

We've also rolled out additional improvements to the Manage Platform:

✓ Bulk License Transfers are now available, making it much easier to transfer multiple licenses in a single action.

✓ Direct Node-to-Node License Transfers are now supported. Existing lease settings are maintained during the transfer, and once the current lease expires, the new license owner can apply their own lease settings.

These updates are part of our ongoing commitment to making the Unetwork platform more powerful, flexible, and easier to manage.

ACCOUNT MERGE UPDATE

Some users attempting to withdraw rewards may currently see a message stating that their email address is already registered.

As part of our ongoing platform security improvements, temporary and alias email addresses are no longer supported for account management and reward withdrawals. As a result, users signed in with an alias email associated with their base Unetwork account will encounter this message when attempting to withdraw rewards.

We're currently implementing a new Account Merge feature that will allow you to securely merge eligible alias email accounts into your base account, making reward withdrawals and account management much simpler.

The feature is expected to be available early next week.

Once released, you'll simply:
• Log in using your base Unetwork email address
• Go to Settings → Merge Accounts
• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the merge

Once the merge is complete:
• Your rewards, leases, and account data will be transferred to your base account
• Existing lease device bindings will remain in place
• The merged alias account will be disabled
• You'll simply need to sign in again on any devices previously using the merged email address

We'll share another update as soon as the feature is live.

We recognize there was a communication gap regarding this change, and we thank you for your patience as we continue to improve the Unetwork platform.

Round 1 Bonus Licenses Are Now Available

Bonus license allocations are now available for all community members who acquired one or more nodes during the Round 1 sale.

These extra licenses are part of the Round 1 Privileges, increasing license capacity for eligible node operators.

To access your extra licenses:

• Go to https://t.co/thutUS1Ntp
• Log in using the same email address used to acquire your node
• If your order was connected to a Web3 wallet, make sure you are using the wallet/order details associated with that node purchase
• Once logged in, your available Bonus licenses will be shown in the platform
• Select the wallet you want to use
• Choose the node you want to add licenses to
• Enter the number of extra licenses you want to claim
• Submit your request

The first allocation will be minted on Monday, July 6 at 00:00 UTC. After that, allocations will be minted once per day, Monday through Friday, at 00:00 UTC.

If you operate more than one node, you can choose which node to assign your Bonus licenses to.

Round 1 operators helped build the foundation for Unetwork’s next phase. These Bonus licenses increase operator capacity as more tasks, more tooling, and more network utility continue to come online.

Scout & Runner is now live in full public Beta.

This marks a major milestone for Unetwork as Scout & Runner moves beyond ScoutQuest and staged access into the full Beta platform.

Scout & Runner is a third-party opt-in task provided by ApexTelecom and hosted by Unetwork.

Both roles are now available:

• Scout Role
• Runner Role

Users can now access the platform and begin participating in the next phase of real-world telecom validation.

Scout & Runner brings real operators, real devices, and real mobile networks together to help verify carrier connectivity and strengthen telecom intelligence at global scale.

To access the platform:

• Open the Tasks tab in the Unetwork app
• Select Connectivity Verification
• Enter the Scout & Runner Beta platform
• Register for the Runner Role, or apply for one of the limited Scout seats available in your country

Please note: Scout & Runner remains in public Beta, so users may encounter minor bugs or flow adjustments as the platform is tested, refined, and scaled.

This is the next phase of S&R: broader access, deeper validation, and more real-world telecom intelligence flowing through the network.

Unetwork application update 1.2.1 is now available on Android via the Google Play Store and as a direct APK download.

This build introduces Entropy, a new first-party opt-in task now available in the Tasks tab.

Entropy allows attested Android devices to contribute high-quality randomness to a decentralized pool in the background. It is privacy-first, fully opt-in, and can be enabled or disabled at any time.

What’s new in build 1.2.1:

• Entropy Contribution - a new opt-in task for Android and APK users
• Improved connectivity to Unetwork trust services
• Device readiness checks - when binding a license, the app now checks connectivity and attestation status before connecting to Proof of Work. Already bound? You can run the check manually anytime in Settings → Check device readiness.
• Clearer device readiness signals before PoW connection

Important:

• Entropy is currently available on Android and APK only
• The iOS version of build 1.2.1 is currently in review with Apple
• Entropy will not be included in the iOS 1.2.1 build

As Unetwork grows, maintaining a network of real devices, real connections, and real locations is critical. Connections identified as proxies, VPNs, emulators, virtual devices, or other synthetic setups do not generate reward potential and may be removed.

A Unetwork application update 1.2.0 is now rolling out on Android via the Google Play Store.

What's new in this build:
• Hardware-backed device attestation
• Improved device verification and network integrity
• New anti-bot and anti-fraud protections, including CAPTCHA verification for selected sensitive actions such as marketplace license claims and withdrawals
• General performance, stability, and housekeeping improvements

Important:
• Your app won't automatically update - You must download the new APK or update via the Google Play Store
• All users should upgrade to version 1.2.0
• Devices that do not meet attestation requirements can still participate in Proof of Work, although some services and future reward programs may require attested devices
