@exesubj3ct I get why you love the “kid prodigy” angle for Tails, but in this AU he’s 18 so he can stand as an equal in the group. He’s still the same optimistic genius, just old enough to hold his own in fights and real conversations. The underdog spirit’s still there, just matured.
