So funny people making fun of Thomas Flight of all people. don’t think he’s particularly good at titles and thumbnails but, he’s one of the film YouTubers out there with interesting and intelligent things to say, which is probably why he’s not quite as good at the marketing side
I just cancelled my Adobe licence after many years as a customer.
The new terms give Adobe "worldwide royalty-free licence to reproduce, display, distribute" or do whatever they want with any content I produce using their software.
This is beyond insane. No creator in their right mind can accept this .
You pay a huge monthly subscription and they want to own your content and your entire business as well.
Going to have to learn some new tools.
Everything you love about your culture, every business you plan your life around, is owned and run by gambling addicts who do not understand that it’s mathematically impossible to keep winning forever. That’s the problem. That’s all of the problems.
@KMeeksFilm Look, I liked Knock at the Cabin too, and I’m always gonna root for a POC indie underdog with a distinctive directorial voice.
But like…even M. Night’s staunchest defenders have to admit that he’s made more bad movies than good ones. Let’s not go rewriting history here.
JODOROWSKY’S DUNE is the greatest documentary because it’s a bunch of chinless guys going “it could possibly be the greatest movie ever” while cutting to Jodorowsky saying stuff like “And I wanted space to feel almost like a pudding, this would’ve taken 6 hours to convey”
@theneedledrop Of course, for the same reason a 10/10 movie can have scenes you don’t like. It’s about the statement as a whole, and most great pieces art are greater than the sum of their parts
