@romlib_ yeah he said he wanted to seize the means of brisket production and institute a meat-based nanny state where everyone gets equitable access to beef
I asked @nenshi how he can champion pipelines when federal NDP Leader @avilewis is against new ones.
Nenshi: "I don't want to be unkind, but the federal NDP is really not relevant in Alberta. Nobody talks about them, nobody worries about them."

@DerekPederson3@CentristMadness@BasedDownUnder even *if* you're right about the spit, you are still ignoring the negative handwriting and palm print matches. no hard evidence points to ALA. innocent until proven guilty.
@DerekPederson3@BasedDownUnder it's not just that in terms of negative evidence, there's also the negative handwriting and hand print match, the fact he looks nothing like the Stine sketch, and people who saw Stine say it's not ALA.
this is not exact science, but if it was only ALA, ONE of these would match.
@DerekPederson3@BasedDownUnder his DNA was tested against all possible DNA they found and was always not a match! ALA looks really bad, but all the actual evidence from the scene points the other way. most likely is that there were copycats.
This is private equity, this is what it does.
Buy up businesses, run them into the ground, and rip them apart for short-term profit.
The developers at BioWare know how to run the studio. They know how to make the games we all love. They should be given the first opportunity - and the federal support - to buy it and run it themselves.
And if we want to avoid the Mass Effect effect in Canada, we should be keeping private equity out, not welcoming it in.
