Just 20-minutes down the road from UGA's main campus is a quiet, 109-acre farm that cares for the nearly 50 equine athletes that power one of the nation's most successful collegiate equestrian programs, @UGAEquestrian.
Student-athletes and farm staff from the UGA Equestrian Complex spend their long days caring and training the elite equine athletes for competitions and happy lives, which led the equestrian program to 8 national titles in their 25-year history with no plans of slowing down any time soon.

Heat could pose a danger to workers at the upcoming @FIFAWorldCup, according to a new study from @UGAFranklin.
In an analysis of 30 years of weather data from venue host cities, researchers found that many jobs at the event exceeded recommended heat exposure and alert limits, putting workers at risk for heat-related health problems such as heat exhaustion or heat stroke.
