Excited to announce my first publication in my PhD study. We found that homotropic Aib (α-aminoisobutyric acid) oligomers folded into energetically unfavorable α-helices and formed superhelical nanotubes with metal ions.@AIDA_UT_RIKEN
Had a wonderful time with all the amazing people at the GRS/GRC 2025 for Self-Assembly and Supramolecular Chemistry.
It is my honor and pleasure to serve as one of the co-chairs for the next GRS. I look forward to seeing you all again.
Many thanks to my project leader @Lab_DavidNg , supervisor @WeilTanja as well as all the collaborators. We achieve precise control over supramolecular peptide assemblies and their subsequent assembly kinetics within cells using visible light. Also thanks to @NatureSynthesis
I finished my PhD from the University of Tokyo, under the mentorship of Professor Takuzo Aida. I’m incredibly grateful for his invaluable support throughout the past 5 years, which have shaped me both academically and personally. Looking forward to the next chapter!
