Hot take

There's nothing wrong with race swapping fan art. You can draw whatever you want

It's only an issue when you claim that it's better than the original or if it's a "fix"

@JaegerDoha @r230614_shin I understand it can be frustrating… calling it racism I think it’s disrespectful, it’s going overboard… most people that do this aren’t trying to be racist or damage anyone, they just want to be included just like Asian people do, for as long it’s respectfully

[✨Unknown Pepzy✨|COMS OPEN @UnknownPepzy]

@JaegerDoha @r230614_shin I understand, I also don’t do that myself, I personally don’t really care about someone’s color or race but I respect people that do (if they do it respectfully), it’s not harmful so I think it’s ok, it’s ok to disagree too while respecting it

[✨Unknown Pepzy✨|COMS OPEN @UnknownPepzy]

@r230614_shin Every race is beautiful, some people just like Hispanics and Black people just want as much representation just like Asians do. Okarun is perfect as his Japanese self. The voice actor just wanted another version of Okarun or a self portrait as Okarun

[✨Unknown Pepzy✨|COMS OPEN @UnknownPepzy]

@r230614_shin He’s not trying to be racist, and nobody hates Japanese people. He just wants the character to look like him so he feels closer to the character, like this is him, not okarun. People do this all the time even with shows from their areas, while respecting the original.
