Shift-Up has had non-stop good PR for months now and suddenly they decided to make one of the worst decisions possible by hiring someone that has pushed DEI within gaming. Now fears of the game being fully censored is spreading rapidly online. https://t.co/Tt5qgDJDdj
YOUTUBE IS TREATING CREATORS LIKE CRIMINALS.
WE ARE CREATORS. NOT PRISONERS.
Creators should not lose their entire YouTube presence overnight because of ONE MISTAKE.
NO WARNING.
NO STRIKE.
NO REAL CHANCE TO CORRECT IT.
The CIRCUMVENTION POLICY can turn one channel’s termination into a domino effect, taking down other channels connected to that creator.
ONE CHANNEL GOES DOWN. THEN THE OTHERS FOLLOW.
That is a real problem for creators.
THAT HAPPENED TO ME.
MY ORIGINAL CHANNEL
25K SUBSCRIBERS. 4–5 MILLION VIEWS.
Steal a Brainrot content on Roblox.
MORE THAN 75% OF THAT CHANNEL WAS REGULAR CONTENT.
Then came those 5 DAYS OF HEAVY CTA SHORTS during the event.
Across those Shorts, I told viewers to LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, DROP A COMMENT, AND FOLLOW ME ON ROBLOX for help with the event.
The channel jumped from 7K TO 25K SUBSCRIBERS in 5 days.
The game was averaging 15–20 MILLION USERS at the time.
WITHOUT THAT MASSIVE GROWTH SPIKE DURING THOSE INCENTIVE SHORTS, I DON’T THINK MY CHANNEL WOULD’VE BEEN INSTANTLY TERMINATED.
I GAINED 18K SUBSCRIBERS IN JUST 5 DAYS BECAUSE OF THOSE SHORTS, AND I BELIEVE THAT MASSIVE SPIKE IS WHAT GOT ME FLAGGED.
I KNOW NOW THOSE SHORTS WERE INCENTIVE ENGAGEMENT. I DIDN’T KNOW THAT AT THE TIME.
BUT BECAUSE OF THOSE 5 DAYS OF CTA SHORTS AND THAT MASSIVE GROWTH, I WENT STRAIGHT FROM NO WARNING/STRIKE TO INSTANT TERMINATION AND A LIFETIME BAN.
THE VERY NEXT DAY AFTER THE EVENT WAS OVER.
MY SECOND CHANNEL
40K SUBSCRIBERS. 10 MILLION VIEWS IN 5 MONTHS.
Fight in a School content on Roblox.
1,100+ VIDEOS. ZERO VIOLATIONS.
6 MONTHS LATER, THIS CHANNEL WAS HIT TOO.
It was removed because of the original channel’s termination.
MY THIRD CHANNEL
2K SUBSCRIBERS. 300K VIEWS IN 2 WEEKS.
Fight in a School backup channel.
A MONTH LATER, THIS CHANNEL WAS HIT TOO.
Then my other channels including ones I barely or never used were removed as well.
EVERYTHING GONE.
My original channel has been gone 9 MONTHS.
My second has been gone 4 MONTHS.
My other channels have been gone 2 MONTHS.
ONE MISTAKE. MULTIPLE CHANNELS GONE.
WE ARE CREATORS. NOT CRIMINALS.
WE ARE CREATORS. NOT PRISONERS.

Stellar Blade might be getting censored and Shift-Up as a whole.. Was sent this image in my DMs and upon looking it up. Shift-Up hired a DEI specialist Playstation executive as Head of Global Communications
Now this doesn't definitively mean its cooked, but red flags are here
To me YouTube as a platform for making videos and uploading them, is making it impossible to get more views, and be something, and honestly my content was not for kids, but for adults only, and it should only be for adults
Google & YouTube Are Failing The Creators Who Built Them.
Creators built YouTube.
Creators made the videos.
Creators brought the audience.
Creators brought the revenue.
Creators kept people coming back.
Yet YouTube is becoming worse for both creators and viewers.
There are ads all over the platform. YouTube is becoming unwatchable.
YouTube is turning into a money grab platform.
There are scams and inappropriate content all over YouTube.
People report that content and it still remains on the platform.
But content people actually enjoy gets removed, and creators people actually watch get banned.
For example, me: I had an 11 month clean history on YouTube. My content was clean, and during those 11 months I never received a warning or a strike.
THEN, FOR 5 DAYS, I made YouTube Shorts telling people to follow me on Roblox so I could help them get an in game item.
I ONLY SHOWED MY ROBLOX USERNAME IN THE VIDEOS.
I NEVER SHOWED THE ROBLOX APP.
I NEVER DROPPED A LINK.
I NEVER FORCED ANYONE TO LEAVE YOUTUBE.
I NEVER DEMANDED ANYONE GO TO ROBLOX.
I simply told people they could follow me on Roblox if they wanted help with the in game item.
IT WAS AN OPTION. NOT A DEMAND TO LEAVE YOUTUBE.
I GOT BANNED FOR LIFE BECAUSE I TOLD USERS TO FOLLOW ME ON ROBLOX.
I WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO MAKE CONTENT ON YOUTUBE AGAIN BECAUSE OF THIS.
20 YEARS FROM NOW, I WILL STILL BE BANNED because I told users to follow me on Roblox.
ALL MY CHANNELS. ALL MY CONTENT. EVERYTHING GONE INSTANTLY BECAUSE OF THIS ONE MISTAKE.
A 25K CHANNEL. A 40K CHANNEL I BUILT IN 5 MONTHS. AND THE REST OF MY CHANNELS. GONE. WIPED FOREVER.
I never got a warning.
Never got a strike.
Never got told to stop.
WTF? HOW IS THIS A LIFETIME BAN?
THERE IS 10X WORSE HAPPENING ON YOUTUBE THAN THAT.
Creators who make the smallest mistake or MAKE NO MISTAKE AT ALL can get heavily punished or permanently terminated.
Years of work can disappear instantly.
NO HUMAN REVIEW.
NO REAL SUPPORT.
NO CHANCE TO CORRECT ANYTHING.
Just automated systems making decisions while creators are left dealing with the consequences.
And instead of fixing these problems, YOUTUBE KEEPS CHANGING THINGS THAT DON’T NEED CHANGING.
YouTube and Google are failing the very creators who built the platform.
YOU BUILT THIS PLATFORM ON CREATORS. STOP TREATING US LIKE WE’RE DISPOSABLE.
If you believe creators deserve a fairer system:

Collected Shout has returned and they are now trying to do what they did last year by censoring the internet. This activist group is one of the starters of why so many artists and creators had payment processors like VISA and Mastercard drop them. https://t.co/rv02yinCIi
Just wow....
-They go after content creators
-Demonetize channels for made up reasons
-Dont review their mistakes
-Spam people with more ads
-Dont show you the people you sub to, but push random videos to you of random people
-Up the requirements for Shorts
-And now double the requirements for monetization
combined with this tweet, not a good look
