@keyasaurus It's not just about having faith though. People create parasocial relationships with fictional people, and are distressed when things don't end how they want. Whatever the ending is, it's Neil's decision, and there is no *wrong* way - it's his (and STP's) story.
@FCBArsene@Flyerthanicarus@BettyBottrButtr@LegalaDee@AyubAbuLayth@HumanityCritic No one is going to making laws to say that 60 year olds can't date 20 year olds. Or do you think we should be legally entrenching the 'half + 7' rule?
I agree it's creepy af, but adults are get to make their own decisions about who their date. This infantilises the 20 yo.
@JunaidRafiAwan2 @fatima_medic This 'get paid, be able to afford a house, family and life' trend really has got to stop.
Where's the self-sacrifice? In my day we got up at 4am and walked 6 miles to the nearest coal mine...
@agw1437 @fatima_medic The pension I pay into is more money out my account each month, I opted out because as an F2 I earnt so little with tax and student loans, I couldnt afford the exams I needed to take to apply for higher training that they didn't offer me because there aren't enough spaces.
@CaspianTheGeek It's going to be the other way around. Crowley called upon to 'destroy' Aziraphale
99% sure the Trust Me photo is in his pocket after EVERY
@Ron__Jon8s@LiangRhea@NohemiRuthBeni2 It is a bit creepy but it may be that it was an easy way to describe the action.
(I tell patients to do the chicken dance when I'm testing strength, it works!)
@DrEilidhMaria I won't prescribe it after 1am, but sleep is important.
My patients are sick, stressed and usually on a ward with pts with delirium. I'm not going to deny them a nights sleep if I can, but always -
- check history
- check why (noise, pain, regular med missing)
- only a stat
@az_crowley@Nephilim2809 But they weren't going to be 30% of the audience? If it's individuals, absolutely, don't presume, but when we are looking at a room of 100s-1000s of people, I think it's fair to make those kinds of statements and not be accused of misgendering someone.
@veggieequallife Again, the problem with removing rotational training is that people will give up knowing they'll be stuck somewhere for the full duration of training. I certainly would.
