I forgot what being awake was like. We just do this a bunch and then... do more? Sorta weird. Sleep I get but doing stuff, including hard stuff, when the bed hasn't even moved?

@DevinsBench Constantly. Mostly nightmares but some nice stuff too. My movement and vocalizing spared me some nasty medication comatose ICU patients usually get, so even the nightmares were probably a net positive.

There's definitely something to be said for having a 40ish year old immune system fighting a cancer whose comfort zone is the mid-70s...

Today I went down from 7 major treatments (2 immuno, 2 bio/targeted chemo, 1 radio, 1 ultra high dose steroidal and 1 boring chemo) to 5, next week will be the final dose of another 3. That'll put me back in the literature so assessments can be made.

Seems the radiotherapy's effects have peaked, hopefully I've seen the worst of it. This means that at this point I'm on the most simultaneous treatments any metastic melanoma (and possibly cancer) patient has ever been on.

With or without improvement in the cancer itself at least I'll get to be conscious again. Small wins. We'll know if it did anything in about a month. All the other treatments failed to put the cancer in remission, but could be slowing its growth.

Alive. Blindish. Voluntarily comoatose most of the time. Up to add new sort of brain zapping to the menu then fucking right back off to sleep for another couple of days.

Wake up and get reports of how many NDEs I slept through. The numbers keep growing with every nap.

Alive. Passed a milestone yesterday. Outlived all previous victims of this protocol. Encouraging, in a very macabre way.
