UFC 335 Card Matchmaking
1st Fight (Main Event) (BMF Title)
Charles Oliveira vs Diego Lopes
I think this could be a fun fight my main issue is I feel like one of the reasons Lopes does so good at featherweight is because he almost always has the size advantage and he can use that but at lightweight he won’t have that and I think Oliveira will show that I also think he does almost everything better then Lopes.

UFC 335 Card Matchmaking
2nd Fight
Sergei Pavlovich vs Alex Pereira
I think this is a really bad mismatch for Pereira we’ve seen Pereira doesn’t do the best against people his size or bigger and that’s what Pavlovich hes way bigger and he hits hard and Pereira just got KO’d I like Pereira and that’s I’m saying I think this is a bad fight for him

UFC 335 Card Matchmaking
3rd Fight
Joe Pyfer vs Bo Nickal
So the rest of the fights I didn’t match make they are official but I’ll still give you my opinion. So for this one I think it’s interesting matchmaking I think it’s a really big setup for Nickal and I’m not sure if he’s ready and it’s not like Pyfer is just a striker he has good wrestling and he’s way bigger than Nickal so I think it’ll be pretty one sided

UFC 335 Card Matchmaking
4th Fight
Magomed Ankalaev vs Khalil Rountree
This fight was booked before Ankalaev although with a finish win over Guskov it was very lack luster and I don’t think built any stock for him I think we do this fight with the Prochazka vs Stirling fight in a tournament situation where the winner of these two fight each other for #1 contender and then they fight Ulberg obviously.

UFC 335 Card Matchmaking
5th Fight (Main Card Opener)
Brandon Moreno vs Charles Johnson
So this fight is already confirmed so rather than explain why I match made it I’ll just like say my opinion. I think it’s a good fight for both fighters at the point of there careers they both are kinda known for or as something Moreno is the former champ who is a top 10 gate keeper and Johnson obviously the prospect killer I think it’ll be a fun striking matchup they both can grapple but I don’t think we will see any of it but I love the fight.

UFC 335 Card Matchmaking
6th Fight (Prelim Closer)
Jalin Turner vs Benoit Saint Denis
I think both of these fighters should make quick turn arounds for two different reasons Turner wants and needs a big one before next year and this is his opportunity and Saint Denis needs a big win to prove he is still top 10 worthy.

UFC 335 Card Matchmaking
7th Fight
Marlon Vera vs Marcus McGhee
I know they both fought recently but they both took basically no damage in their fights and I wanna see more out of them this year since they have both had a resurgent year in different ways. A fight for the top 6-8.

[Shawn not Shelby @UnoffMatchmakr]

UFC 335 Card Matchmaking
8th Fight
Ethyn Ewing vs Cody Garbrandt
We need one more Ewing fight before the end of this year so why not put Ewing against Garbrandt who is a slick striker and the striking sequences would be great and Garbrandt is always down to swing if you are

UFC 335 Card Matchmaking
9th Fight
Sumudaerji vs Steve Erceg
Sumudaerji deserves a step up in the rankings after his last win and Erceg coming off a brutal KO loss has to fight down and it’s a good striking matchup with unique striking from both

UFC 335 Card Matchmaking
10th Fight (Prelim Opener)
Ante Delija vs Aleksandar Rakic
Rakic gets a step up in the ranking against another striker I think it’ll be a fun fight and another fight that probably ends in a finish but is also competitive.

[Shawn not Shelby @UnoffMatchmakr]

UFC 335 Card Matchmaking
11th Fight
Chase Hooper vs Mike Davis
Hooper with a very slight step up in competition I feel after his losing streak and Davis with a chance to show some veteran savvy and possibly best Hooper and get close to the rankings.

UFC 335 Card Matchmaking
12th Fight
Chris Cutis vs Ty Miller
Unfortunately Curtis is just regressing it seems and he has to fight the super young guys now and I think this could and will be a very fun striking match likely ending in a finish and a good step up for miller.

UFC 335 Card Matchmaking
13th Fight Early Prelim Opener
Markus Buchecha vs Denzel Freeman
Every card has to have a non ranked heavyweight so I tried to make an interesting one with a bjj champion and a good wrestler I think it could turn to be a fun match possibly.

Court McGhee Retires
Congrats to Court McGhee on the career a long career always down to fight and what an inspiring story he has in his life. Anyways I hope he enjoying retirement

[Shawn not Shelby @UnoffMatchmakr]

Eric Nolan vs Gunnar Nelson
Nolan with a step up but with another older fighter in an interesting fight that honestly I think Gunnar can win
#ufc

[Shawn not Shelby @UnoffMatchmakr]

Marvin Vettori vs Cody Brundage
If Vettori is not cut I think this is where he is at his career I think this is a fight he can win and maybe somehow Vettori will make it into a good fight where it’s back and forth

[Shawn not Shelby @UnoffMatchmakr]

Ismail Naurdiev vs Robert Valentin
Feel like they are at similar points in their careers both on two fight win streaks against low level competition so whoever wins gets a step up
