I was never very political. Raised in a Labour family, I later supported the SNP, believing both put our people first.

The last 18 months have opened my eyes. My views haven’t changed, yet somehow what’s always been centre ground is now labelled “far right”.

I’ve watched ordinary people punished while genuine victims are ignored. Then came Restore Britain. A leader speaking up for victims, offering clear policies and explaining how he’d deliver them.

For the first time, I felt politically represented. I’m no longer a silent observer, but a proud paid-up member.

My views haven’t changed. My vote has.

My values haven’t changed, but the information I’ve looked into has. I’ve always wanted what’s best for Scotland and still don’t believe Westminster has delivered that. But I now see a party that shares my priorities, and if achieving them means standing together as one nation, that’s a compromise I’m willing to make.

More importantly, you’ve restored something I thought I’d lost. Hope.

Putting our country and its citizens first should be common sense, but apparently that’s controversial in this bonkers world!

I’m sick of hearing what can’t be done. Find a way, not another excuse! That’s what drew me to Restore Britain.

We’re not alone, we’re not giving up, and together we CAN make a difference.

Who’d have thought politics would become the hot topic at parties and weddings! People are waking up and the labels are losing their sting. “I don’t care” seems to have given plenty of us permission to say what we think. Turns out common sense isn’t quite as rare as we’re led to believe!
