@WorldCupMedia South Africa really came to the World Cup just to stretch their legs 💀😂. Mexico didn’t even break a sweat these ones had NO way out. From kickoff to full‑time, they were getting walked through like an open gate.
VDM stood right in front of the army and police blocking the Ministry of Defence and told them the truth they didn’t want to hear.
He said:
“After 35 years of service, there will be nothing to show for it. You have a gvn that you cannot use to protect your own family but you are using it to protect this terrible government. They travel by flight but you travel by road because you cannot afford it.”
He wasn’t talking to the enemy. He was speaking directly to the soldiers and officers themselves.
That’s what makes this different. He didn’t just confront the system... he reminded the men holding the gvns that they too are victims of the same system they are protecting.
The real problem is not the men in uniform. It’s the system that puts gvns in their hands and turns them against their own people.
To the men in uniform, there is still time to wake up. Because one day the uniform will be gone, the salary will stop, and you will return to your villages to face the same poverty, the same bandits, and the same insecurity you were used to shield others from.
That day, you will remember this moment and ask why you didn’t do the right thing while you had the chance.
@terakyalenadena Yes, she threw the marriage away, not him. She thought the longevity of the marriage would spare her from divorce which is why it was easy for her to cheat. Nowhere did she take any accountability for being the one to destroy the marriage…GOOD RIDDANCE.
An African man was seated next to a racist Chinese passenger on a train in China. The Chinese man immediately covered his nose, openly implying that the African smelled bad.
The African man responded by doing exactly the same thing. Even after the Chinese man stopped, the African refused to let peace reign and kept mirroring the offensive gesture.
One of the most foolish things that a wife would tell her husband whenever they're having a misunderstanding is:
"There are lots of men outside waiting for me to divorce you so that they can marry me. You that I'm just managing"
😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
End.
Yesterday, I read a story about the wife of the man who was beheaded in Oriire Local Government.
She reportedly rejected the two bags of rice and N500k that was given to her through one of the President's daughters, if I'm not mistaken.
What touched me was her response.
She said two bags of rice and N500k cannot bring back her husband's body for a proper burial.
To me, that's the mindset of someone who genuinely wants a better country.
She was not demanding riches or compensation.
She simply wanted to see her husband's body and give him a befitting burial.
If such a woman could stand her ground in a moment of pain like that, I doubt she's the kind of person who would sell her future or vote for the wrong politician because of 10kg of rice and 5k cash.
Many of us need to change our mindset and stop trading our future for temporary benefits.
The politicians will come and go, but we are the ones who will live with the consequences of the choices we make.
Insecurity is a bad market. Nobody should pray for it because when it comes, it doesn't ask who you voted for, your tribe, religion, or political party.
May God heal our land and give us leaders who value human lives.
Amen 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
When my sister wanted to buy land, she informed my parents.
My dad asked, “Is your husband aware?”
She said, “No.”
Dad replied, “Tell him first and get back to me.”
She never did.
Later, my dad found out through my brother and called her husband.
“Are you aware your wife bought land?”
The husband replied:
“No sir. But why would she do that? All the properties I buy are in both our names.”
My sister called my dad angrily:
“Dad, you want to scatter my marriage!”
My Dad answered her:
“You’re the one already scattering it.”
Twelve years later, she still thanks him. She said her friends had been advising her to buy property secretly.
