Ameera is probably the most defensive sound player in her class on the girls side, as ferocious and as much energy she spends locking up the opposing teams best player she puts even more pressure on them by attacking them offensively.

Jay is arguably the best shooter in his class. His ability to shoot stretches the defense out and makes it hard for opposing teams to zone whatever team he is on.

Gavin Little Martins Ferry
Gavin has great ball handling and is deadly from mid range. His height and length causes problems on the defensive side for opposing guards. What sets Gavin apart from alot is his work ethic, he seems to always be in the gym.

It was an exciting 1st week. Can't wait until week 3. I watched several games Saturday. I caught Wheeling 5th grade, Barnesville 6th grade and Martins Ferry 6th grade girls play and all come away with a win. In week 3 I will focus on the boys side.

Most know him from the football field but he's just as good on the court as he is on the field. Amar'e uses his speed and strength well attacking the hoop and finishing against smaller defenders. He has great IQ and court awareness also.

With unbelievable ball handling skills she's able to break down the defense easily to either attack the hoop or create for her teammates, but that's not all she's probably the best shooter on the Ohio side. If she gets a look you will pay

Addies game reminds of you of a traditional post player with great footwork and a nice touch around the rim, but don't let that fool you she can step out and hit the 3 when given the chance. She can play all 5 positions when asked

Talk about having a ball on a string. This girl is a wizard with it and her speed along with it almost makes her unguarded in a 1v1 situation, and just when they think they will zone to keep her from driving she knocks down a deep shot.
