@VisualsbySauter The light was already fading when we saw this moose mama with a calf nearby. We were pretty close but kept enough distance that she barely even paid attention to us while she grazed. It was hard to get a photo because she rarely looked up!

Photogs might be watching Mark's YouTube channel, but how many of his 214,000 subscribers can discern that last 10%--esp with YT's compression?

It was a wet, drizzly drive when my friend spotted this healthy coyote. The opportunity was so fleeting that we barely had time to photograph it. Looks fluffy even in the rain! This is why I keep my camera ready to go until I'm completely out of the fun zone. #ColoradoWild #RMNP

I took this a few mos into my photo journey, just in time for #MemorialDay. It's just a bird but humans often anthropomorphize animals & I like to think it has meaning--b/c capturing meaning thru photography is an important part of my transition from mil. officer to veteran. #1/4

First day in the field with the new R5 and RF 100-500mm. This is a quick cell phone drop of mama returning to the nest after some well-deserved alone time. Can’t wait to see what the real photos look like!
