@dercimus19035 Yep! The handle is 3d printed. There are 4 AA batteries in the handle which requires a pause mid print to install the battery contacts.
The blade is a Circuit Board and there will be a laser cut part as a light diffuser around the blade.
Its been a lot of fun to design.

Finally able to show off my new badge! The missing part was a (very long lol) 3d printed handle!

Heres a little sneak peak for my indy #defcon33 #badgelife badge! If anyone can guess what it will be I'll give them a free SAO at the con!

@see_ess Well, now I know what movie I'm going to put on while I program next. Good guess but not quite.

[Untitled Electronics @UntitledElec]

@max_power1978 I see can totally see that. Scale is a bit off though.

[Untitled Electronics @UntitledElec]

Heyo #defcon need SAOs for your badge. We have Dumpster fires and Live Laugh Toasterbath SOAs at Fountain Blue bleau bar for the next hour! Look for the Hawaiian shirt and stupid hair!

Finally getting back around to playing with Mechanical Keyboards

[Untitled Electronics @UntitledElec]

@Kalel0251 Hrm. I've been meaning to make a youtube channel. Okay, better is the enemy of good.

I'll finish up my badge this week. Do a twitch stream, record it and put it up on youtube.

[Untitled Electronics @UntitledElec]

Would there be interest in doing a 'How to make an SAO (PCB Design) workshop this weekend'? I'm thinking I'll spin up a discord server and work with people to make their own SAO for a few hours.

[Untitled Electronics @UntitledElec]

Or perhaps Twitch?

[Untitled Electronics @UntitledElec]

The defcon badge this year will have an SAO header. Making an SAO is an easy intro for PCB design.

We were really proud to make the badges for @BsidesIA 2022! Here are some of the details on the badge!

The Badge uses an ESP32-S2 microcontroller running @micropython, it has a rechargeable 14500 battery.

Big thank you for the people who volunteered to help assemble the badges
