古い写真の場所は「橿原神宮の第一鳥居」でほぼ確定しました。
鳥居の素材は木製・石製と異なるのが懸念ではありますが、背景の畝傍山の位置、鳥居の笠木の断面の形、左端の屋根付きの建物？っぽいのも現存しているところから判断。

周辺の木々は、80年前に植えられたもの。
鳥居は昭和14年（1939）に建立されたもの。
紀元二千六百年奉祝紀元節大祭の一環で建てられたもの。
