@srleeds_ have just taken over a lecture theatre for 24 hours - they’re running a whole day of workshops on climate justice tomorrow.

Their main message: @UniversityLeeds must go further and faster, and engage more with students and staff!

People may not appreciate this, but the police presence on campus today has no precedent in the history of the university. The campus is private property (w. public thoroughfares) so the police would have needed explicit invitation. Such broad invitation has never before happened

We're at @UniversityLeeds careers fair to greet @DraxGroup, whose power station is UK's single biggest carbon emitter. Drax receive millions in energy subsidies from the gov because they greenwash biomass (burning trees!) as renewable, despite clear evidence that it is not! (1/3)
