We had such a brilliant #BGMusic workshop today with MEG from @UoYMusicEdGroup 🎶 we loved exploring pitch and dynamic through using our voices, and we haven’t stopped singing the ‘bumblebee tuna’ song! 🐇
Olivia, Imogen and Charlotte have all been nominated for their excellent volunteering as Project Committee for @UoYMusicEdGroup, responsible for the organisation and delivery of musical sessions and activities across local schools and the community. #studentvolunteeringawards24
The KS2 classes enjoyed an exciting djembe workshop today. We learnt how to play with three different sounds on the drums - slap, tone and bass! Thank you so much @UoYMusicEdGroup@HaxbyRoad
Another fantastic session with @UoYMusicEdGroup. Today the bows came out…with impressive results! @Y6 loved trying down bowing & up bowing. Don’t we look the part! 🎻
What a morning for @NEP_Year6! They’ve had a fantastic introductory lesson to playing the violin with @UoYMusicEdGroup. Despite some initial reservations, by the end of each session everyone had played the violin using pizzicato! 🎻
