#UOBCOHW Within the past 50 years there has been a major change in family dynamics. In healthcare the professionals need to include all types of families including nuclear, extended, blended and family of choice. Families that help with care, should be provided with support.

#UOBCOHW Gender inequalities have lessened throughout the years, however looking closely it is evident in terms of healthcare there are still some issues. We believe men die younger due to pride and leaving issues until they are too late.

#UOBCOHW GROUP K: The family structure has changed in relation to the status of the financial provider and housewife. Compassion can improve someone's emotional stability. As a student nurse it is vital to support the families and show compassion and empathy to build relations.
