QoL can be measured using many different tools, but can we really measure an individuals quality of life? Each individuals QoL depends on how they live their life and how the patients, health care professionals and services perceive it to be. #UOBCOHW

Even from a young age gender rolls are drilled into us, males being strong and dominant and females being caring and weak. Transgender can cause confusion due to lack of knowledge and acceptance in modern society. #UOBCOHW
From doing the privilege walk our group feel sad about how many people were stepping back and how it showed we’re all from different backgrounds but now share the fact of being at university together! #UOBCOHW
Family dynamics have changed over time nuclear families remain but there are more blended families & families of choice. The responsibilities of families have changed too: aged parents & gender roles have reversed. As nurses we need to understand there is more diversity #UOBCOHW
The new class system highlights the fact we live in a world where there is a deep need to classify everything and put everyone into brackets. As nurses we need to look past this being mindful of individual circumstances and how to it will impact on them as service users #uobcohw
