We're back for a new semester! We held our first meeting for the Winter term last Wednesday and got right into things studying for the URME.
We've got lots planned for this semester, so keep an eye out for more updates!
Last but not least, Declan Fleming is in his second year of Agribusiness, and serves as the team's SRM-PPC Student Liaison, representing the team at SRM chapter meetings. He spent the summer as an Ag Extension Summer Student with the SK Ministry of Agriculture out of Outlook.
We've been a bit absent from Twitter, but rest assured that the Range Team is back in full swing! We've already had some great presentations at our meetings, and fundraising is underway for us to attend SRM Conference 2023! See below to meet our executive!
Next up, Kelsey Acton is the team's Fundraising Chair. She is a fourth year Soil Science student, and spent the summer working as a Research Associate with Bayer Crop Science, as well as on her undergraduate thesis studying the use of arctic soil plugs for revegetation.
