What a fun morning presenting at the @lcpsofficial Educators Rising Conference hosted by @ShenandoahU! It was great to have powerful discussions with future educators in the Teacher Cadets program!
I recently experienced the most rewarding moment in my book journey thus far.
I had the opportunity to connect with students in the Teacher Cadet program at Loudoun County Public Schools who are using my book #knowledge_ABLE as part of their curriculum.
So grateful for this!
LCHS Teacher Cadets inaugural professional book study is Knowledge-ABLE by Bradley Lands. Cadets had a blast welcoming Mr. Lands this past week with Purposeful Play and inquiry activities. @LCPSOfficial@MrLands
@OPLLpgcps I love seeing all of these learning opportunities that you post!

One of my biggest takeaways from @TheATLIS Annual Conference was a powerful message from Matt Scully at the ALI Reunion session:
"Shine more, shade less."
Thank you, Matt for this inspirational message and for the smiley face pin! It has already been put to good use!

Reading #Knowledge_ABLE by @MrLands and thinking about…
💡 learned helpfulness
as well as…
💡 leveraging coaching, by all learners in a shared space, to grow and support the collective environment
I am reading @MrLands book Knowledge-Able. Just read the chapter about #LearnedHelplessness and how common this is, not just in #Teachers but society as well. A far number of gov't programs here in the USA promote this concept.
Brad, @MrLands, I am sending you a huge Thank You for your book, #KNOWLEDGE-ABLE, and especially Chapter 23. I have added my initial thoughts on the ABLE Framework.
Huge thanks to principal Dr. Michelle Luttrell at Loudon County High School (LCHS) @LCPSOfficial for inviting me to join her faculty book talk on ideas expressed in my book Knowledge-ABLE!
It was so powerful to have such meaningful and actionable conversations!
