Yesterday, voters in Berwyn Heights, MD said YES to exploring ranked choice voting for Town Council elections – with 76% in favor!

Great news from Virginia yesterday!

After accepting Governor Spanberger's technical amendments, the bill expanding #RankedChoiceVoting became law.

This expands the number of localities that can choose to use #RCV and makes the option permanent.

Across the country, the movement for more choice and a healthier democracy is growing from the ground up!

It's official. The first pro-RCV legislation in the country since 2023 has now passed in Virginia!

Today, both chambers of the General Assembly voted to accept Gov. Spanberger's technical amendments to the bills, concluding the process of the bill becoming a law.
