Today is one of the most emotional days of my life. I genuinely don’t have the words to express what I am feeling right now.
Exactly four years ago I started speaking about reservation reforms.
I was abused. Mocked. Trolled. Threatened. I even got SC/ST Act notice by Delhi Police. But I kept going.
For four years, I wrote thousands of posts and made hundreds of videos on the issues. People I had never met started reaching out to me & sharing their stories.
The last four years have not been easy. I have lost work because I chose to associate myself with this movement. I have lost friendships. I have been attacked by trolls and IT cells. There were attempts to intimidate and silence me in every possible way.
I rarely spoke about any of this. Because for me, the cause was always bigger than my career, my comfort, my friendships, or anything I could personally lose.
And today…
When I stood back and saw thousands of people at Jantar Mantar demanding reservation reforms, I honestly felt something I cannot put into words.
Thank you. From the bottom of my heart. ❤️
This is only the beginning!!
#WATCH | Delhi: On the Jantar Mantar protest against caste-based reservation, YouTuber Ajeet Bharti says, "Our biggest demand is that the government should come up with a white paper stating that the reservations you've given to people for 80 years... I come from Bihar. Research how dire the situation of the Musahar community is. Their children aren't getting reservations. Why? Because those caste groups don't even have leaders... The second demand is quota within quota, on which the government has also said that we will not implement the creamy layer in it. Why will you not implement it? It is so absurd that the government is bowing down to those few Dalit leaders who only talk about their caste group... The third demand is minimum marks. You cannot sell the dream of a developed India by compromising on merit. If 50% of the deserving youth or boys and girls who are studying will not get admission in the IITs, IIMs, or higher education, your efficiency has reduced by 50% right there... Then the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) should be made a part of the Scheduled Castes (SC). The class whose definition says economically weaker, you are neither giving them a facility in buying the form, nor are you waiving their hostel fee, nor is their course fee being waived; what will you achieve by merely recognising it?... At least indicate that we are going to have a sit-down talk about this..."
@Dayymbroo@arunkaushikp@Dank_jetha Factories ka role kam hai , pm10 bahut zyada hai delhi mein non winter season mein , that means road dust and construction is the main reason , factory water pollution aur baki me contribute krti hogi , but air pollution me 5-10% contribution h sirf
@Dayymbroo@arunkaushikp@Dank_jetha 100-120 in august monsoon season is way too much , and tokyo's august average is 45. Har jagah whataboutery na karo , aur focus kro ki pollution kese kam ho skta hai , kyuki abhi october november aana baaki hai
@arunkaushikp@Dank_jetha Lol delhi is not even that polluted if you check districts of up , like gorakhpur , ghaziabad , hariyana's faridabad . Every place , aqi is more than 100 even in monsoon unless if the place is north east or coastal , the aqi will be high
