@WeDzimW_muvindi@DahirHassa70208@Krepublics2_ Viruses evolve all the time. Actually HIV is one of the fastest evolving viruses. It already efficiently spreads in humans, so the effect of that evolution doesn't really cause dramatic change. You could just research more on the topic. Knowledge is free these days.
@WeDzimW_muvindi@DahirHassa70208@Krepublics2_ Yes and no. It’s not just a simple mutation. SIV spilled over from chimps into us.. that’s the first step. But because viruses adapt to their host, the SIV RNA(DNA) had to change a lot so it could infect and spread efficiently between humans. Those changes over time are what we
@WeDzimW_muvindi@DahirHassa70208@Krepublics2_ They found the closest match to HIV in chimps from Cameroon/DRC that’s why Congo becomes the early hotspot. So the order is: Chimp virus → human through bush-meat contact → then human-to-human sexual transmission.
No conspiracy, just a normal zoonotic spillover like Ebola&Covid
@WeDzimW_muvindi@DahirHassa70208@Krepublics2_ HIV didn’t begin in a lab it spilled over naturally from chimpanzees in Central Africa. People hunting or butchering chimps got exposed to chimp blood that contained a similar virus called SIV. Scientists later studied chimps because the virus was already spreading in humans.
@WeDzimW_muvindi@DahirHassa70208@Krepublics2_ Many people smoke and very few people die from smoking complications. That doesn’t mean smoking kills. Likewise just because other people don’t get something it doesn’t mean it didnt originate from the thing in question.
