@StrategicWin5@MaryMargOlohan Lmao are you insane?
We had to close our borders because 15 million people waded across rivers and deserts to sneak in from 2021-2024
It amazes me someone who has completed, advanced degree training, and who is a doctor, cannot conceptualize that billionaires do not have billions of dollars of cash on hand to pay taxes.
Billionaires are billionaires in net worth. They own Capitol. They own stock. They own real estate. They own assets.
In order to pay a so-called billionaires tax, these people would have to sell stock in their own companies or other assets in order to complete that transaction with the IRS. This would have a negative impact on their companies, which are publicly traded entities in most cases. Do you know that this would decrease the value of those companies, which is counter to shareholder value creation.
This means you there what you do is you tax everyone else who is a shareholder within their company. So unless you are proposing, some other means of payment, I suggest you do a little research before making the surface level glib little ignorant ruminations on social media in order to create a froth for your ignorant followers.
Focus instead on the money that is being wasted or stolen from the average American taxpayer as is, because that is where societal value can be created.
Or continue making dumb posts about extracting wealth from job creators.
It’s really up to you, Doctor.
Dems have been in power in WA State for more than two decades. Complete and total control. Look at the performance metrics across the board and put out a report card.
It’s literally their design, Gee. You can get lost in the tall grass on this individual policy positions or legislative initiatives all you want but it doesn’t change the fact that Seattle and WA State are trending downward everywhere and it’s intellectually lazy at best to try and point the finger at Donald Trump.
The mess we have is the mess we voted for, plain and simple.
@seattletimes Not enough to get me to switch back from Delta. FAR superior airline. Alaska used to be the Nordstrom of the skies with regard to service and value. It’s been 15 years of steady decline
@seattletimes That’s because we turn around and give it all away in taxes and CoL to a state government that actively hates the people that drive the economy forward in this state.
This is a MISERABLE place to live and work, in that context.
