I came here in the fall of 2007. It was a vast land of silence. I have gone to Mastodon, been welcomed, and feel safe there. If you come over I’d love to reconnect!
@RepTroyNehls They don’t have to leak them. They can place them in the congressional record where they’d be public. That’s Civics 101 (a good ole boy like you may have missed it). Sad that there are so few qualified ran and you were the next best choice. Glad I left the district.
@nathaliejacoby1 None. Divide Texas into 5 states with major cities as state capitols. That leaves the deep red panhandle & West Texas a single, combined unit.
@Xenosbreed@Esqueer_ Why is it odd? Gay men have called for bisexuals to no longer be part of the LGBTQ community. Log Cabin Republicans are almost exclusively wealthy white gay men.
@BenjaminNorton Someone had the stones to close a door in your face. Instead of clutching your pearls maybe start your own little tankie instance or take the time to research so you get the right one. Then just move your account. Duh.
I’m a boomer and even I could figure it out.
@BowmanNancy@Cori__P@PaulRieckhoff You know if the bars you were going to weren’t safe, then you should have gone to another bar. Queer spaces are for queer people and their friends. They are not the location for your next hen party.
The one who saved my life and stomped the shooter’s face in was not a drag queen, she is a trans woman. Let’s not call trans women drag queens during this time of grieving over a transphobic attack.
@Jacksonova1 @shammari91m @Spurs_McNulla@JinxSocialWork@GrantWahl Again, for those who don’t read the previous tweets:
They set rules and then changed them.
Kind of hard to follow the rules when they keep moving the goalposts.
@TalbertSwan Have you ever seen what happens to gay black men in their own community, especially in the most fundamentalist, homophobic sectors?
Many gay black men I know can't even come out to their families. The two things can be true at the same time. Stop creating false dichotomies
@BrianT_SEA@nullagent @ericacbarnett Web 3.0 (Mastodon included) is really Web 1.0 with graphics (simplistic but true). The difference is that people own the conversation, not corporations (C$S, AOL). We have yet to see how it will play out. There are instances run by reporters, so we’ll have to see.
