English, the langauge you’re using with me is probably the common language that works for everyone.

Me having to learn Hindi, which isn’t my mother tongue, just to participate and compete with people who already have the advantage of it being theirs, while they can go their whole lives scaling up knowing only one language, and enforce it just to drive the motion towards them, that’s the issue.

The unfair truth is that my identity and effort are treated as optional, while their privilege is treated as the default.

Was it really necessary for the Karnataka government to go overboard just because a private franchise won a cricket tournament?

The Deputy Chief Minister rushing to the airport, the Chief Minister hosting the team at Vidhana Soudha, and organizing such a massive celebration was any of that truly essential? It seems like those in power have forgotten what their real responsibilities are.

Had the entire responsibility of organizing the victory parade been handed over to the police department including permissions, route planning, and crowd control, this unfortunate chaos could have been avoided. The police could have coordinated directly with the franchise to ensure a well-managed event.

Instead, what we witnessed was a political PR stunt combined with fan frenzy — a mix that turned celebration into a mess.

The Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister must take moral responsibility and resign immediately.

This state deserves leaders who govern not event managers chasing the limelight.

Some hate-driven bhakts are targeting Kannada activists over the recent brutal terrorist attack in Kashmir.

Let it be clear: Kannada activists have condemned the incident. Every Kannada activists wants the government to give a strong and decisive response to the terrorist groups behind this.

But instead of demanding accountability from the government and ministers for the security failure, these bhakts are busy blaming language rights activists.

This isn’t just misplaced anger it’s a complete loss of basic democratic understanding. In a democracy, the government must answer the people, not the other way around.

I do not require Hindi for my livelihood or work. I live and work in Karnataka, a state with its own rich language, culture, and identity. Karnataka is not a Hindi-speaking state, and our language, Kannada, deserves equal respect, recognition, and rightful status. As a language rights activist, I openly advocate for the rights of Kannada speakers and all Indian language speakers, striving to protect and promote linguistic diversity. There is nothing dual, secret, or unclear about my stand.

To set the record straight, my opposition is against the imposition of Hindi, not against Hindi speakers/North Indians. Forcing a language on non-native speakers violates linguistic diversity and undermines the federal principles that uphold our country’s unity. My stance is rooted in justice and fairness, not in hatred. My fight is to ensure that all Indian languages receive the respect they deserve in their own regions—nothing more, nothing less.

I am an active member of the Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV), and I engage wholeheartedly in its initiatives to protect and promote Kannada. Through my involvement with KRV, I have been part of numerous campaigns aimed at securing language rights and fighting against the imposition of external languages in Karnataka. My work is completely transparent, and all my efforts are in the public domain through news articles, videos, tweets, and social media posts.

I am polite and respectful toward everyone, regardless of whether they speak Kannada, Hindi, or any other language. That is my character, and it reflects my values. Most of my friends and colleagues, from various linguistic backgrounds, are well aware of my fight and the campaigns I am involved in.

Importantly, I do not mix friendship with my campaigns. I value and respect the personal bonds I share with people, irrespective of their language or opinions on these issues. Similarly, I do not let my activism interfere with my professional responsibilities. I am a good team player who treats all team members with respect, regardless of their language, culture, or political alignments. I work with people from across the globe, collaborating with individuals from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. I believe mutual respect and understanding are the keys to achieving success together.

I also make it a point to stand by my words and actions. Unlike individuals like Shailendra, who post about others on social media and then disappear without addressing questions or consequences, I take responsibility for my statements and engage in dialogue. Running away from discussions is not my way—I believe in honest and open conversations.

I do not blame or mistreat the common man for issues caused by government policies. My fight is with the system that imposes and marginalizes languages, not with individuals who speak any particular language. Respect, dignity, and equality are at the core of what I stand for, and I will continue my efforts to uphold these values
