@youngdongbro All these equal, if someone has a goal of eating less, is it more or less expected that they would meet their goal if they wake up hungry or not hungry?

@eureka_coach@GiladKingsley My revenue will not flow through the app itself. I'm taking the Netflix approach and doing all my onboarding/subscription stuff through the web.
Since Nov 2025 I've worked 12-16 hrs/d building nutriDex (Android app is close). It mogs the competition. But, I'm a one-man show, and dev stops without outside support. My finances are fucked. I've revamped my donation page to make supporting easy. ๐

@GiladKingsley@eureka_coach I mean, maybe. But I don't have an Apple device for testing, and I don't want to deal with Apple's App Store policies and shit.
@praeclarum If you're using anything other than NixOS, you reap what you sow. But, the underlying cause of the failure is largely going to be something generalizable across imperative operating systems (including Win and Mac). I've had NVIDIA drivers on my server for over a year; no issues.
@cake_wars Listen, I think you're just hallucinating because you have a default bias against it, personally. I haven't seen a single DLSS5 picture that has honestly looked worse. I've seen a couple where I could take it or leave it, but none where the image was an obvious downgrade.
Well, it seems you're in the minority with that particular take; the ray tracing in Doom Eternal was generally considered good implementation.
Also, as an aside, what you're calling lost detail on the textures is just the cost of more realistic lighting, to be honest. The light diffuses and reflects naturally. Have you ever actually seen light reflecting off a shiny surface, like a car or something? The texture of the car is literally harder to see through the glare. If the game designers have the goal of making the aesthetics more realistic, what you're calling a loss of detail is actually just them succeeding in that goal.
@professionaldog Mine never stopped working, but it did reach a point where I wasn't getting any further benefit. But yeah, I switched to something stronger and seem to be getting excellent results so far.
Hahaha, don't bullshit me, kid. You straight up took the baitโhook, line, and sinker. There's a reason why you asked for a better example rather than an example that actually includes DLSS5, lmfao.
@modularpsu Straight answers only, please.
Scenario A) Highlights and shadows not accounted for by the environment in movies.
Scenario B) Highlights and shadows not accounted for by the environment with DLSS5.
I assume you tolerate A and not B. If so, what's the symmetry breaker?
@cake_wars Also, the above image is not DLSS5 on and off. It's Switch vs PC graphics. There's no DLSS5 in either picture. If you think that game looks better on Switch, you're in a vanishingly small minority here, lmfao.
@modularpsu Yeah, run away. I don't care. You people never have any decent objections on the aesthetic front anyway. I'm basically convinced you're either dishonest or hallucinating, or both.
I think you're just misunderstanding the point that I'm making. Your original objection was that there were highlights and shadows in places they shouldn't be (meaning in places not accounted for by the environment lighting, presumably). This is true in both cases. I'm asking for a symmetry breaker.
@modularpsu Also, dude, you granted this earlier. What on Earth are you talking about? If the environment is too dark, they have the goal of subverting the environment to make sure that it's not too dark for the camera by using non-practical lighting.
