Feminist Writer Ozzy Etomi deactivates her X account after Viral Chats Allegedly Show her Admitting to Ch+ating on her Ex-Husband

A series of purported viral chats between feminist Ozzy Etomi and Ezra Olubi’s ex, Maki, circulating widely on social media. The chats , dated May 18, 2020, show conversations between Etomi and a woman identified as Maki, described in online posts as the former partner of Paystack co-founder Ezra Olubi.

In the chats, Etomi purportedly talks openly about the breakdown of her marriage and her romantic involvement with someone else. In the chats, Etomi allegedly tells Maki that she “ch+ated on [her] ex husband the entire time,” describing the situation as beginning “from day one.”

She also claims her then-partner was unaware of her behaviour, saying, “he doesn’t know that, so I am all righteous indignation.” The conversation further shows Etomi discussing her reasons for wanting to end the marriage, referencing “boredom ,” and marriage being a “convenient arrangement”.

She also reportedly states that she came out as bise+ual during covid and her family went “cr+zy”. Etomi who is known for her controversial feminist views on X noted that she had planned to stay in her marriage for five to six years, have a kid, then file for a divorce.

The exposé between Ozzy and Maki has caused an uproar on the internet. While some are expressing pity for her husband, some parties are speaking on the ills of entering a loveless marriage.

As of the time of this report, Etomi has not released any public statement addressing the circulating screenshots. Her X account, however, has been deactivated. The situation unfolds amid ongoing controversies linked to her close associate, Ezra Olubi
