Did I mention by the way that govt's "ban" on bonuses contained in the "landmark" Water (Special Measures) Act only relates, and very specifically only relates to "performance-related pay".

Call it a Christmas bonus, a long service bonus, being a jolly good chap bonus or even a "retention incentive" and you've just sidestepped the whole ban.

PS. Incase you didn't notice Thames Water have simply "paused" their bonus payment scheme that's a very difference thing from not paying it.
