Loon: “Durk Is Fighting for His Life” — Calls Out Akademiks & Trap Lore Ross! Feat Federal Inmate / https://t.co/ZqFDehIY81
THE INTERNET NEVER HAS TO DO THE TIME.
Years ago, Loon sat down on Brilliant Idiots and called out what he believed was happening in real time: Lil Durk could sit across from Akademiks, then the same media machine could turn around and platform people publicly antagonizing him — and everybody would call it “content.”
Fast-forward to today.
Lil Durk is now fighting a federal murder-for-hire case in Los Angeles, and two Akademiks interviews have been cleared for use as evidence in the trial — including the Wack 100 and 6ix9ine conversation where Durk was publicly criticized over not “sliding for Von.”
At the same time, Trap Lore Ross has been inside and around the courthouse covering the Durk trial and giving followers updates from the proceedings. His presence even became part of the story after a Durk supporter confronted him outside court over the way he covers murder cases.
So Loon raises a bigger question on INTERNAL AFFAIRS:
At what point does documenting the culture become participating in the pressure surrounding it?
And if an artist believes a platform consistently disrespects his friends, his losses or his way of life — why does he keep rewarding that platform with access?
Loon says everybody has to draw a line somewhere.

Dat nigga Jam said during his whole 12 years locked up Durk sent thousands!! Everytime Durk changed his number Durk made sure his 0G got it. He say in 12 years people forget about you, but Durk never did... Jam said when he came home he called Durk and said "l ain't got no clothes. Durk said yes tf you do, you got us!! Nigga rapped about u in hella songs and never let you be forgotten. When you got outta jail, he had you picked up like you was the president. And you turn around and do that man like that?
The squares are the ones who keep going back to jail lmao nothing cool about being around Mon all day and being told when to shower sleep and wake up .
Incredibly real emotion from Seahawks HC and former @Ravens DC Mike Macdonald when honoring his late friend O.J. Brigance.
O.J.’s impact continues to ripple across the football world, even to those who never knew him.
Lamar Jackson says he watched friends chase fast money while he was playing the long game and counting how many years it would take him to reach the NFL
“I’m seeing my friends who I was growing up with who I was playing football with… Just throw their life away for fast money and stuff like that. They used to tell me ‘Oh, you talk too much’. Because I used to always speak about football and positivity stuff. They didn’t want to hear that.”
“Now it’s like… They’d rather hear it now because I’m Lamar Jackson. But I’ve been speaking about it. Everybody just wasn’t listening. I was already seeing what was going on. I wish we could go back in time and y’all could see what I was seeing. Because I always looked at life like, I counted years.”
“Like I would think… ‘How many years does it take to get to the league?’ They’re saying… ‘You do three years in college.’ I said… ‘I’m doing three years.’ I’m not doing four. I’m not trying to go fifth year. I’m doing three years because I’m going to make sure my family is good.”
“If you’re coming from a place like where I come from, don’t try to be like the guys around you. Don’t look up to the stuff that looks like it’s fun… Because sometimes it gets you in trouble.”
“It’s sacrificing. ‘Man, I can’t have fun right now. I’ve got to get my family right. I can’t do this right now. I can’t mess up.’ Forget the fast money. I’ve got to think about longevity.”
“You can get locked up and do five years for $1,000. That money gone. It’s gone. You’re like… ‘Man, I just did that for $1,000…’ And I could have waited five years and I would’ve had $10 million.”
“That’s why I’m where I’m at right now. That’s how I used to think. My mom working… She’s busting her behind. It’s me, my brother and my two sisters at home. I’m the oldest…”
“So I’ve got to make sure everybody right. And it’s like… Man, I can’t wait, but I’ve got to wait. That’s the sacrifice. I’ve got to be patient. People don’t look at it like that. It’s like… ‘Man, I need that money right now.’ But you don’t need that money right now. Just wait.”
It simply does not get dumber than people saying Durk snitched on Vonnie. There was a mountain of evidence against Vonnie, and he admitted guilt, and to try and get off, pointed the finger at Durk as the ring leader. That’s not snitching. That is simply acknowledging the reality of an admission of guilt by a code defendant.
People want to compare that to 69 which is crazy because 6ix9ine was a ringleader who they had a mountain of evidence against who then snitched on the people he paid to do the shooting. He got a 5K plea and time served.
There is nothing similar about those situations. People who say they are should be ignored.
The emotional unawareness is amazing in the black community...
Single mothers raise...yall know the rest...
There are three guaranteed crash outs in life dude to the fact they've never been criticized or critiqued...
