@wis10 They might as well terminate everyone…not many people use sick days when they’re actually sick.

[Brittany Hunt @UrFavEducator]

ELA teacher out for an extended period of time & of course the reading interventionist is just sitting in her office not attempting to help out nor teach..I’m so over this

[Brittany Hunt @UrFavEducator]

Being a teacher is DRAINING…you build relationships with your students and their families then boom you get bad news that takes a lot from you. Then to get bad news about 6 former students at once is crazy…I’m so numb I can’t even cry no more

[Brittany Hunt @UrFavEducator]

I hate this…all the kids involved I taught at one point and I had a bond with each of them…as a teacher this hurts

3 teens killed, 1 wounded in shooting on Saddletrail Road, Richland County deputies say - This is a developing story. Check back for updates as they become available. https://t.co/uG9sMpOBYI via @wltx

This is the part of teaching in an inner city that I hate the most

[Brittany Hunt @UrFavEducator]

Just got the news that (at least) one of my former students was murdered today…I saw his mom’s name and the neighborhood they live in but I was hoping it wasn’t one of them…I’ve literally taught 4/5 of her kids so I’m so connected to that family it hurts

Found out today (8 days before returning to work) that I’ll be teaching 6th grade math instead of doing my job as a math interventionist…I gave all of classroom stuff to my new math teachers so now I need EVERYTHING…please feel free to help my students & I out (links below)

Started watching Suits on @netflix last Thursday (last day at work) & I’m now on season 5…once I start a show I refuse to watch anything else & this is so good

Just ordered my new favorite from @Starbucks but forgot to ask for light ice😩 a chai tea latte with vanilla sweet cream instead of 2% & toffee nut syrup topped with whipped cream & caramel crunch topping

[Brittany Hunt @UrFavEducator]

Just logged into my email and see I have a direct deposit notice…I usually ignore them but today I opened it and it says it’s for longevity…I wasn’t told we were getting this & im not complaining but what..thank you RCSD1
