Had to stop my day to run to Sam’s club because @Instacart continues to route my orders to stores 30 miles away so the driver, rightfully, cancels after an hour of me waiting for my « express » order
@SSKedreporter I didn’t receive an email, I wonder if it was sent to cps employees who added themselves to some list. Either that or I’m just not special
I go to this @MarianosMarket for the pharmacy and have usually shopped here because I’m already here but looks like I need to move to another store. Second time old items on the shelf, incorrect pricing, crummy selection, store starting to look more like food 4 less #EXPIRED
I've avoided @questdiag for lab tests because every location I've been to has had disrespectful, rude lab techs. Doc wanted me to think at today so I tried the Cicero & Peterdon location. Same as all the others. Female tech said go to a hospital if you need labs today.
Today I donated to departments and causes at my undergrad alma mater that made a positive impact on my life today.

@jwaitkus22 @LynnWeston @dominiak_robert @GSmokesweed1 I’m pretty sure the average citizen anywhere in the world would know that, of the two Ottawas you mentioned, we ARE talking about the one that’s the freaking nations capital of our neighbor to the north and that we’re NOT talking about the hillbilly farm town in Illinois.
@rklein90 The article compares teachers planning to leave vs. teacher shortages. Those are not 1:1 correlations. National guard and police are manning classrooms. Chicago is allowing uncertified subs to teach all year. A body in a seat (which drops the shortage) is not a teacher.
@JRobertJohnson4 @Amazing0Nature Same thing happened to me on fb when I posted a screen shot of someone saying that people of a certain minority group should die. I reported it and it met community guidelines. I post a screen shot saying apparently this speech meets guidelines and *I* get the consequence.
@il_fps In addition to a Grammarly check, the DG parents might want to highlight that piece of Illinois code to the unmasked kids threatening the masked kids as well as the threatening parents hovering around the school making it unsafe for any masked kids to want to go to school
@AngryInChicago @ShellbyL2@jenbotjones@CTULocal1 Forced to do something they didn’t want? Are you referring to going to school? Or are you referring to bedtime? Or maybe you’re referring to “eat your peas.” Stop the nonsense
@PaulMil79814337 @MattChr83 @Alex_W__91 @libsoftiktok@ClarkCountySch Most districts forbid teachers from intervening. They pick a kid up or throw them off someone getting hurt and the kid they pushed gets injured, the district gets sued anyway. Regulations aren’t written for incidents like this.
@MattChr83 @Alex_W__91 @libsoftiktok@ClarkCountySch I think you got it right there. That girl woulda beaten that teacher senseless too and obviously the kids in the class strong enough to do something weren’t going to do anything
@WhippedTacos @TonySandersU46 Probably because they’re more concerned about being stoned by antivaxxers than they are about being stoned by vaxxed mask wearers
@lauraandleo1@jenchung@OneCitySchools ❤️we are looking at offering to neighboring districts but food might get cold by the time it gets to NYC. I’m sure our chef would help local food service directors start in the right direction,
@lauraandleo1@jenchung@OneCitySchools Nope. I’m comparing a primarily Black and brown public schools in Chicago & WI where no one pays tuition to another public school in NY where no one pays tuition. We actually spend less on quality lunches than than big districts spend on gas station food.
