When you see someone you care about, who has worked hard countless times to get clean, hop in the back seat of a stranger’s car, it’s devastating. I cry just about every time, regardless of how often it happens. #Christ is still risen.
@drantbradley I watched the 2019 ELCA convention when Elizabeth Eaton was pointedly asked about John 14:6, when she encouraged religious pluralism; however, I believe those were holdouts who chose not to leave and join the NALC or LCMS.

I was clearing old voicemails from my cellphone this morning and came across the voices of some of the saints who have already gone to be with Jesus. Hearing their voices was a wonderful reminder of the #Resurrection that is to come.

When I started as a pastor, whenever someone murdered a parishioner I had this furious anger with which I wanted to protect my sheep; but, over the years that anger has given way to a pervasive sadness that just clings to the hope of Christ.
A life changing opportunity that I truly am at lost of words for. The cumulation of literal blood, sweat, & tears that got me to this point. All the trials and tribulations. The doubt. The hate. The heart breaks. But ALL GLORY to God for the blessing to start a new chapter.
