@presinzano4hob1 1) Hoping our property tax wouldn't go up too much.
2) Wondering why no diners can make it in Hoboken? Just a basic sausage, egg, and pancake in-the morning kind of place.
3) The process of getting an ID to use Stevens Pool is very complicated.
@presinzano4hob1 My appreciation for Hoboken public art had been 50/50.
I like the Hudson Street parking garage mural. Liked 20% of the utility box art. Disliked the WWII memorial, the Sinatra sculpture, 9/11 memorial. I enjoyed the recent Pier A lights.
My opinion is A is too big, B is fine.
@SMCoulombeau In Taiwan and much of Asia, you can pay hourly to be in a cafe with shelves of Manga, magazines, and books. You can also pay monthly if you go there a lot.
@Misterheroguy No. Suffering taught me fear, which made me risk-averse and prevented me from seeking joy. On the other hand, suffering made me more empathetic and forgiving. Without it I would be a happier and less kind person.
@tyler_c_world It makes sense in the Dragonball universe because villains turn good after defeat. In the DC universe, it really is a trolley problem with thousands of future victims on one track and an evil villain on another track. Superheroes refuse to pull the switch.
@DougaWood1 Some 1st graders are just starting to feel too old for picture books. Captain Underpants was popular 10 years ago for that age. If the teacher can forgive you for all the misspellings and potty humor.
