City crews will remove debris from City trees in the right of way. Homeowners are responsible for tree and brush removal for trees on private property. We encourage residents to contact their insurance companies for information and assistance.

We have had no reports of injuries due to the storm. Urbana PW crews are out in force with clean-up operations. All roads are passable, but please use caution.

SE Urbana was hit by winds that toppled trees and damaged houses. @METCAD911 received a call last night that a funnel cloud was sighted near Race and Windsor. A tornado was not confirmed.
Urbana PD & FD and are patrolling the area in search of individuals in need of assistance.
