I just want to speak my mind for a minute to our American followers — because I feel genuinely upset that the U.S. leadership has sold out to the Iranian terrorist regime.

However — I want to say that I believe in his country and its people no matter how much we disagree with each other. One sycophantic self-serving leader doesn’t define us as nation. This is merely a moment in history that will reflect poorly on our choice of leadership, but not on our history as a people. I trust that we will emerge from this disaster intact and that this will serve as a wake up call to those who may have lost sight of the bigger picture — that this country relies on an informed populous making smart choices when electing our leaders.

Tak chyba można podsumować tekst porozumienia USA-Iran.

Teheran uzyskał w zasadzie wszystko co chciał. Zniesienie wszystkich sankcji, odzyskanie zamrożonych aktywów, moim zdaniem zachowanie kontroli nad Ormuzem (jeszcze zobaczymy jak będzie z tym opłatami, na razie "60 dni" zwolnienia), zachowanie programu balistycznego, perspektywę inwestycji (takie quasi reparacje) na 300 mld USD. Bez słowa o grupach proxy, za to zobowiązanie do nieingerowania w wewnętrzną politykę, czyli gwarancje dla reżimu. To dużo więcej niż miał przed konfliktem i to pomimo niekwestionowanych zniszczeń i strat.

W zamian odstępuje od programu atomowego, czyli zobowiązuje się do czegoś, co gotów był przehandlować w Genewie przed wojną. Z perspektywy deklarowanych celów wojny, jest to całkowita porażka USA. Naturalnie zobaczymy jeszcze jak to będzie z implementacją i co zrobi Izrael, ale na tę chwilę to sytuacja jest korzystna dla Iranu.

Z perspektywy regionu, zniesienie blokady i znalezienie biznesowych ram współpracy to dobra nowina, choć układ sił ulegnie zmianie (o czym kiedy indziej). Państwa Zatoki odetchną, choć w ustach pozostanie niesmak, a konta w bankach nieprzyjemnie zubożone. Z punktu widzenia USA... no cóż, wpakowano się w koszmarną katastrofę. Prawdziwe bagno, z którego istniały tylko dwa wyjścia -> kompletne porzucenie zmagań i ścięcie kosztów (zamknięcie złego biznesu) albo zainwestowanie dużo większych środków w inwazję lądową. Wybrano rozsądniejsze i tańsze rozwiązanie, co tak naprawdę świadczy dobrze o administracji Białego Domu, jeszcze zupełnie nie zdurnieli. Zrozumieli swój błąd.

A jest tutaj jeszcze jeden ciekawy element poboczny. Trump poznał na własnej skórze co znaczy specjalna operacja wojskowa, która nie idzie po myśli i masowe ataki dronów, których nie da się tak łatwo odeprzeć. To moim zdaniem sprawiło, że całkowicie zmienił postrzeganie tego jak się ma Rosja w wojnie z Ukrainą i dlatego taki a nie inny był jego komunikat po G7. Bolesne doświadczenie Iranu mogło uświadomić Trumpowi jak trudna jest w rzeczywistości sytuacja Rosjan.
