Exactly.
How can any country in that region of the world live in peace knowing Israel seeks to destroy everything in its way as it expands its borders and steals more land? Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, the West Bank and Gaza. It never ends.
So many ordinary people have lost their livelihoods for merely speaking out against this.
Our media ignores these atrocities at best. But they mostly justify it. And of course, Americans, despite their increasingly dire financial situation, are forced to fund it.
But remember, don’t dare criticize Israel as your gas prices continue to skyrocket due to yet another war they wanted. That would be evil and “antisemitic.”
My journalistic output seems to have triggered yet another mental breakdown by Laura Loomer.
The noted serial harasser now wants me imprisoned for interviewing a member of the same team of Iranian content creators interviewed by the BBC, CNN, Vice, and many other outlets.
In a separate but equally demented screed yesterday, Loomer shamelessly fabricated details of my questioning by CBP agents, demonstrating that she has as much sourcing as she has ethics, which is exactly none.
A day before, Loomer falsely claimed (for at least the fifth time) that I am the employer of Joe Kent's wife, Heather, who published a total of one article with my outlet several years ago.
That same day, Loomer cropped a photo of a glass of wine on a dining table where Tucker Carlson was seated to falsely claim the teetotaler had become a full blown alcoholic. Next, Loomer claimed that Tucker is "having sex with a Russian agent and cheating on his wife," admitting she had no evidence for the inflammatory accusation.
Someone who's known Loomer well is Roger Stone. In a lengthy profile of his former associate, the veteran GOP operative and Trump insider wrote: "There are questions, too, about [Loomer's] mental health... Loomer has said in the past that she has mental health issues, and told this magazine in 2019 that she had once come close to taking her own life. I feel for Loomer, but there remain questions over why she is prohibited from having a gun license."
Stone went on to reveal a conversation with an "American journalist" who told him "that Loomer confided in him Mossad’s detailed plans for Venezuela." He concluded that "this once again raises the question of who Loomer really works for, something she has thus far neglected to reveal."
Stone's whole article, "The Tragedy of Laura Loomer," is worth a read, as it describes one of the most shocking subplots in the story of the most corrupt presidential administration in history: a psychologically disturbed fabulist has gained special access to the Oval Office, and exploits it to lobby for executive action against the targets of her clients – who now apparently include a pair of foreign states seeking to drag the US deeper into disastrous wars in Iran and the Donbas.
In fact, Loomer managed to convince Trump to fire his administration's most credible expert on Shi'ism and Iran, Nate Swanson. Trump dutifully obeyed Loomer's command to oust Swanson from the NSC after he correctly warned that Iran would close the Strait of Hormuz if attacked by the US. Months later, Trump is getting US troops killed in a failed bid to open the Strait.
Where she was once emboldened, Loomer now seems desperate, and more deranged than ever, if that was even possible.
After seeming to taking personal responsibility for the warrantless seizure of my phones by the CBP, she's suddenly crashing out over a federal judge describing the act as a violation of my Fourth Amendment rights.
After attempting to sicc Trump's DHS Secretary on me, she's calling for his firing.
She's bursting botox bubbles over Lego cartoons and demanding my imprisonment for interviewing their creator.
The whole crash out has me wondering if her administration patrons will realize what a Frankenstein-Jigsaw monster they created, and that in the end, they are the ones who will be Loomered.
US plans for destroying nations like Russia, Iran, and China have been publicly published, talked about, and implemented for decades.
Politicians do not make these policies. They simply sell it to the public or distract the public away from these policies.
Multinational multi-billion dollar corporations don't sit there every 4-8 years leaving their future/fate and US policy to "voters" and the clowns they pick for office.
Instead they have created a political system to serve as an "explanation" for and/or a distraction away from their own continuity of agenda.
Corporations fundamentally pursue the maximization of power and profit - and therefore their collective agenda driving US policy is to maximize US power and profit - hence endless exploitation at home and hegemonic war worldwide no matter who you vote for.
This should be beyond commonsense.
But instead of understanding this as the fundamental nature of the US system and going on from there - people cannot help but to indulge in the daily political circus and attempt to cobble together fictional narratives to explain why "Obama" or "Trump" or "Biden" are doing the things they're doing - essentially continuity of agenda - without actually acknowledging continuity of agenda itself and the real interests driving it.
Instead, the "reason" Trump is continuing wars the corporations have planned and implemented for decades is because "he's blackmailed" or "has bad advisors," or "lost his temper" and not because the US political system is a deliberate system of control rather than a process of self-determination.
If you understood continuity of agenda and that unelected corporations drive it - BEFORE the 2024 elections you would have known these wars would continue and others would be started - just as they now have been - regardless of who won.
These people ignoring continuity of agenda and doing "analysis-by-official narrative" or "analysis-by-political party" are constantly wrong precisely because of this.
They are the same ones who said Trump would end all these wars in the first place (simply because he "said" so) or that Iran "won" and the US would leave West Asia (because the Western media suggested it), and are still looking for reasons to explain US policy in terms of "Trump," his "emotions," and the circus performed by him and those around him and even those "opposing" him.
And because they are doing this - they will continue to be wrong.
Truth is arrived at through first principles and scientific analysis and an understanding of material reality.
Like a math problem, if you don't get it right from the very start - everything you do onward will drift further and further from the right answer.
Go back to the beginning and start over until it all actually adds up.
Pakistan just signed a collective defense agreement with Kuwait, and Qatar is likely next.
Pravin Sawhney, one of India's most respected defense analysts, has been tracking this shift since Day 1 of the war, and his read is sobering:
Pakistan is quietly becoming the security anchor of the entire Gulf, filling the vacuum the U.S. is leaving behind, with Saudi, Kuwait and soon Qatar all seeking the same arrangement.
Essentially, Article 5 for the Middle East: an attack on them is an attack on Pakistan
On the MOU: "This is a consequence of war, a war that Iran has won, and I expect the Iranians to go further, to get more rigid, to bring in Gaza, to bring in Yemen."
On the House bill merging U.S. and Israeli military command in the theater: "What it means is that as far as West Asia is concerned, the commander in chief of CENTCOM will be the PM of Israel and not POTUS."
On where both wars end: "There is no way that either Russia or Iran will lose, it will be a prolonged war, but the sufferers will be the American empire and the EU."
A fascinating perspective from someone who has been right about this conflict at every turn.
Thanks for coming on again, @PravinSawhney
🇮🇷 NEW: Iran's top Military Spokesman confirms that Missiles and Drones are still being Produced.
"Our production never Stopped and we continue to Replenish our Stockpiles"
This is just embarrassing.
As Americans can’t afford healthcare and groceries we have a billionaire scamming Americans and living in our house that he plated with gold.
I've just visited the largest funeral in history, where millions mourned Sayyed Ali Khamenei, the Iranian leader who was assassinated by the US-Israeli coalition along with members of his family
It is practically impossible to understand what this scene is like, or what it means, unless you're here. I've met people from around the world who've come to pay respects, including many from across the West. The crowds pouring in are endless, and grow larger and more intense into the night.
From Tehran's Mosala, there are indignant calls for vengeance, displays of sorrow and defiance, protest, songs and marathons of poetry. These days of mourning will amount to one of the most resonant moments in the history of anti-imperialist movements.
Everyone I've spoken to believes war will return to Iran before long, and none trust the MOU with the US. But they are confident their country can deter another assault. They see their own citizens' mobilization as an integral component of Iran's survival.
If the assassination of Khamenei was designed to spur regime change, his funeral demonstrates how badly it has backfired. And the crime may blow back in ways its historically illiterate authors could have never imagined.
What we're witnessing in the Mosala consolidates the Islamic Republic and its revolutionary society as a political reality that can not be erased through regime change war or sanctions. This is a turning point in the region that will echo for a generation.
In exile in the East after sitting in parliament across five decades. Stopped by armed police under the Terrorism Act at a London airport. All because of my views, once commonplace, now running the risk of persecution or worse. Welcome to the West.
An audience member at a Q&A recently asked me why I'm so apocalyptic. The genocide in Gaza, beyond being a tragedy, marks an irreversible shift in the global world order. Before the genocide, the imperialist ambitions of the Western oligarchic class were partially constrained by the utopian ideal of the rules-based order. Now that ideal is gone, and unrestrained barbarity will characterize the methodology of the war-making ruling class. In other words — our future is an apocalyptic one.
“We understand that the Nakba never ended. It is playing out today in Gaza as genocide and in the West Bank as ethnic cleansing and apartheid"
At a UN screening attended by ambassadors and diplomats for the Oscar-shortlisted Palestinian film “All That’s Left of You,” Javier Bardem delivered a message marking the 78th anniversary of the Nakba.
